This piece is a drawing based on the story of a friend I found on Tiktok, and it is a part of my monster drawing series on Tiktok, which I began back in December. Ever since I was a little kid, I've drawn monsters in order to give faces and forms to the feelings and experiences that are difficult to hold, understand, and explain. Now, I'm sharing this process with others by creating monster drawings on Tiktok, collaborating with people and their stories in order to give faces and names to such experiences. These drawings have encapsulated many experiences ranging from topics in mental health, social ostracization, trauma and war, illness, and more. Due to popular demand, I am happy to announce that I am selling prints of these pieces in limited print drops.
